been voted thecity’sbest for two years running. Therewewere introduced to
RichardWissak,whosegrandfather founded thegarage in 1956, long-time
cabbieErnest, andLincolnStevens (
pictured
), themechanic foremanwhokeeps
their 140cabs in tip-top shape. Lincoln toldme theypride themselveson their
good relationshipwith theirdrivers: “We respect themand they respectus.”
After gettinga look inside the industry that getsNewYorkersand visitorswhere
