someof the restaurant’s vegetables are
harvested), andworkshops and lectureson

So far sohippy, but it’s not quite that
simple, saysBrenkal. “Like any community,
wehaveour disagreements. This is good,
though. Ifwedidn’t havecriticismwithin
the community, this placewouldbe as
bad as anywhereelse.We’vehad some
really harddiscussions – a fewpeople
haveeven left because they didn’t agree.
That’s okay –we’re400people, andeven
ifwewerefivepeople itwouldbehard for
everyone to agree.”
