Chiang Mai within easier
reach as new flights begin
Bangkok Airways has launched new services and
added new flights on its regional and domestic
routes to enhance the airline’s domestic reach and
strengthen its ASEAN connections, just in time
for Thailand’s entry into the ASEAN Economic
Community (AEC) in 2015.
The new flights include Chiang Mai-Mandalay
(3 flights per week), Chiang Mai-Yangon (4 flights
per week), Chiang Mai-Udon Thani (2 flights per
day) and Chiang Mai-Phuket (1 flight per day).
The new flights were launched in October and
are now open for booking. The same month, new
services were added on our Bangkok-Krabi route
(4 flights per day, up from 3) while in November,
the Bangkok-Chiang Rai route (3 flights per day,
up from 2) saw a similar increase.
The newly added flights pave the way for better
flight connections for passengers travelling within
Thailand and within the region as a whole.
