Scan Configurations

Before you can scan any computers you must set up the scan configurations you need for your organization(s).

The scan configuration comprises a scan type, a unique short code (which identifies the scan) and various options available for that scan type.

To view scan configurations:

Go to View and Manage - Scan Configurations. All scan configurations for the organization are listed.

• Specify Folder for any Data Scan Configuration
• Specify File Patterns and File Hashes for File Finder Scan Configuration
• Using Data Rulesets to Find Sensitive Data
