A: Yes, it's an annual event that is generally scheduled for the last Saturday of every July.
Is this tournament only for Nepali or Nepali-Speaking team/players?
A: This tournament is mainly for Nepali speaking community originally from Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, Burma and India. However, teams are allowed to include players in their team regardless of language, origin, nationality, ethnicity, color, race or religion. Please see tournament rules for more details.
Why it's not showing up our team as registered team in website even though we registered our team and made payment?
A: Website is updated periodically so if your team has completed registration form (online or printed) and completed payment, you're all set. Your team will be updated in website on next update.

Is Jersey/Pinnies numbers mandatory?
A: Yes. If your team's Jersey don't have numbers, you can use numbered pinnies.
Is captain band required?
A: No.

How many players are there in a team?
A: It's a total of 8 people including goalie.
Can our team coach/managers play?
A: Any players in 15-individuals in team roster who has completed their Liability forms can play.
Is there offside in this tournament (8v8)?
A: No, there won't be any offisde.

Can I just email my team member for team roster?
A: No. It is required to have the roster form (pdf) downloaded, filled out, and emailed to churchnepalicommunity@gmail.com. That way we can have a printed copy of it on the tournament day to verify players. We'll provide all the printed forms for you to complete, if not already.
Snacks
Will there be snacks for players?
A: Water, sports drinks, Ice, protein bars, and banana are provided for all registered teams on tournament day. Please check the home page for more details on quantity.

When and where do we meet for tie-sheet meetup?
A: It's usually at Nepali Community Church NY facility at 45-04 48TH AVE, WOODSIDE, NY 11377. Will be communicated well in advance for timing and venue change (if any).
Is it required for teams to attend tie-sheet meetup?
A: It’s not required but encouraged to attend as the groups are formed and tie-sheets are finalized with teams’ participation on tie-sheet drawing day. Therefore, the tournament tie-sheet (aka match schedule) that comes out from the tie-sheet meetup will be FINAL.
