| Previously, we did not recommend uploading workspaces via the REST API because there were processing in uploading workspaces which the REST API could not handle. However, in 2020.0 we've introduced new API calls to upload workspaces. We've also added a way to upload workspaces directly from the FME Server UI. Please note there are some restrictions to this, such as you will not be able to upload web connections or custom transformers directly through the UI. |

For this exercise we are going to pretend we want an automatic way to move workspaces, from a test FME Server to a production FME Server. For this training course we will simply move the workspaces between different repositories.
