Software Requirements

Essential Studio® 32.1.19 is compatible with Visual Studio .NET 2017, 2019 and 2022.

Essential Studio® for Universal Windows Platform (UWP) requires the following to be installed in the development environment: Windows 10 operating system, Windows 10 SDK, and Windows Runtime framework.

Essential Studio® controls and components can be used in any .NET environment including C# & VB.NET.

Configuring debugging support

The source code version of Essential Studio® includes the Syncfusion® Assembly Manager to ease the burden of switching between Debug and Release versions of the Studio components. For more information, refer the product User's Guide.

Licensing

Starting with v16.2.0.x, projects that reference Syncfusion® evaluation builds or NuGet packages require a license key. This key is different from the setup unlock key and must be generated from your Syncfusion® account.

  • Generate your license key from your Syncfusion® account.
  • Add the key to projects that reference Syncfusion® NuGet packages.
