Anti-Malware scans

Overview

Deep Security Anti-Malware scans can help you reduce the risk of security breaches or threats to your customers by scanning the content stored on protected computers.

If you have a solution which stores user-contributed content on your protected computers, you can set up Deep Security Anti-Malware scans to catch malware uploads in real time, before it has the opportunity to spread.

You can also scan any pre-existing content on your protected computers by running a Full Scan on the computer.

Basic Configuration

To enable Anti-Malware functionality on a computer:

  1. In the Policy / Computer editor, go to Anti-Malware > General.
  2. Select On, and then click Save.
