Maintenance (Mac)

Automated Tasks are deployed, managed and viewed directly from your Monitoring and Management Dashboard and can be scheduled to run daily, weekly, monthly or on-demand.

When executed, information on the current state of the Task in the Mac Notification Center (if the Task is configured to run when the user is logged on) or a loginwindow dialog (if the Task is configured to run when the user is logged off).

The following Tasks are available with the initial release of Maintenance Automated Tasks:

• Backup and Purge Cache Data
• Extended Memory Testing
• Purge Font Cache
• Repair Permissions on Installed Packages
• Run Managed Patch
• Verify and Repair Volume Structures

Mac Agent 3.0 RC is supported on OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and above
