How to add a call to action on facebook

You must make each social media marketing post you construct work for you. Add a call to action. If people like your content ask them to click the share button so they can spread the word to their friends. That way you reach more people. Offer people an incentive to join your mailing list. These can range from a free tutorial e-book to being submitted into a prize draw.

have a call to action on every post you upload on Google+ Linkedin and facebook

Drive traffic to your website by adding a link to one of your pages to each update you post. After leaving a long helpful advice filled comment on someone else's post, finish it by adding your name at the bottom and your web address. If they like what you have said they can check out your site. Do not expect to get any SEO benefit from doing this as all links in comments are what they call "no follow" links and are ignored by the search engines. Do not do what is know as "link bombing". Saying stuff like "yes I agree" or "great photo" then leaving your web address is viewed as very bad practice and spammy.

Drive traffic to your website

Below is an example of one of my fly fishing company posts on facebook. I have uploaded a photograph of a river. I am trying to get engagement by asking a question. "Read the river. Where are the trout lurking?" These types of messages are always popular and stimulate a good response as fishermen like to show off their skill and knowledge. I have added a call to action at the bottom of the question. I have highlighted it in red. "Share this post now with your fly fishing friends so they can join in" I have also added a link to my website. Recently I have found that I have been getting a better response by posting the update and then immediately adding a comment to my own post that says "Click the SHARE button to show your friends"
