Moving from Hands-On to Abstract: Teaching the Way Students Learn

This workshop focuses on how to help teachers better understand how to teach the way students learn. Discusses learning theory briefly then invites participants to engage in hands-on lessons designed to help move students though the stages of concrete learning to abstract symbols in a variety of mathematical strands. Emphasis on middle level.
