Engaging Students through Problems, Projects, & Inquiry
Description
This session will provide ideas for how to engage students in tasks that encourage them to apply mathematics. Participants will learn how to assess their students beyond the test by using problems, projects and inquiry. We will balance assessment through testing but also through rubrics for portfolios, presentations and other collaborative tasks.
