Complex Instruction as a Necessary Pedagogy for Equity

Description

Group work is becoming more common in our classrooms and professional recommendations. However, this can reinforce the inequities of the larger society unless underlying issues of status are recognized and treated. In this session, we will discuss Complex Instruction as a practice for allowing all scholars to be a part of the learning process.
