From Abundant to McNugget to Vampire: Using Fascinating Numbers to Build Competence and Enjoyment

In this session, participants will work with a variety of
interesting types of numbers, including abundant,
deficient, perfect, semiperfect, friendly, weird, happy,
vampire, untouchable, lazy caterer, narcissistic, and
McNugget numbers. Discussion will include
ideas for incorporating number enjoyment into
standards-based lessons.
