A Precalculus/Calculus Teacher Reads the Newspaper

As modern-day math teachers, we regularly want to show our students how math helps us better understand the world. In this session, I will share some ways that my colleagues and I use articles and graphs from newspapers to create problems and design activities for our precalculus and calculus students. Current events and math are inseparable!
