History: These buildings were originally contructed by the government to house officers at the Fort Casey Military Reservation.  The older duplexes have stone foundations.  The small residence to the west housed the military doctor, who was then only steps away from the infirmary (since razed). Hoenig purchased the property from the G.S.A. in 1955 after it was declared surplus.

Description: Military building with Colonial Revival elements: Duplex.  Wood frame set on stone or concrete foundation; rectangle (30’ x 40); 4 bays wide; 1 1/2-stories.
