History: A small complex was built at this site by William B. Engle on his Donation Claim in the early 1900’s for a man that worked for him. The only visible remains of this complex today is the cabin. The chicken house on the property was used by Japanese and Chinese renters, and later on became a tool shed.
Description: Vernacular Farmhouse. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; rectangle (12’ x 16’); 2 bays wide; 1 1/2 stories.
