History:  Built in 1860, this 2-story house served as a trading post, tavern, hotel, and mail station. It served ferry traffic which landed at the Ebey’s Landing site until water traffic was re-routed to Fort Casey at the turn of the century. Some of the owners and tenants include Mary Ebey, Ivor Powell, Jasper Boyer, and Frank Pratt Jr.

Description: Vernacular residence with Greek revival elements. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; T-shape (28’ x 36’); 5 bays wide; 1 1/2-stories.
