History: This house was constructed by the Abbott family in the 1920’s. The gable roof section on the north originally contained the wood shed and housed chickens. The Knowles Family lived in the house in the early 1940’s. The Lynch’s purchased the home in 1946. They installed asbestos siding over the original wood siding. Few other changes have been made to the exterior of the structure.

Description: Vernacular Residence with Bungalow elements. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; rectangle with 1-story gable roof addition on north façade; 3 bays wide; 1 ½-stories; asbestos shingled siding; wood-shingled gable roof with extended eaves; off-center chimney on west façade.
