History: This house was probably built by Captain Thomas Kinney in 1890. In 1919, the Hesselgrave’s purchased the house for use as a rental house. There have been very few changes to the exterior of the house over the years.

Description: Vernacular Farmhouse. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; rectangle with 1-story gable roof addition on south façade; 2 bays wide; 1 ½-stories; shiplap siding; asphalt-shingled gable roof; corbelled interior chimney. Exterior features include 2/2 double-hung sash with molded cornice and plain surrounds; small, hip roof portico with decorative screen and brackets, chamfered posts and plain railing on north façade.
