History: Island County Bank, Inc. was incorporated in Coupeville on May 12, 1892. In July of that year, Daniel Pearson sold a tract of land to the bank for $300.00 with a building constructed on the site by December of 1892. The Island County Bank closed on Dec. 1, 1893, with the building next used to house the Island County Abstract office. In 1903 another bank occupied the building. The Bank of Commerce of Everett located here and remained the local bank for many years. The bank finally moved to Oak Harbor c. 1933 and the building was sold.

Description: Vernacular Residence. Wood frame set on stone foundation; L-shape with shed roof addition on south façade; 4 bays wide; 1 1/2-stories; clapboard siding; asphalt-shingled gable sloping down to porch on north façade; corbelled center chimney.
