History: This building was constructed in 1890 on a site further east on Front Street. It housed a meat market and then an abstract office. In the early 1900’s the building was moved to its present side and functioned as an abstract office run by Daniel Craddock. In 1919, the building and business were sold to Luther Weedin. The Weedin’s ran the abstract business until 1957. Since then the building has housed a variety of businesses. In 1982, the building was raised three feet off the ground and a concrete foundation placed beneath and new front stairs were constructed.

Description: False Front Commercial. Wood frame set on concrete foundation; rectangle; 2 bays wide; 1-story; shiplap siding; asphalt-shingled gable roof; off-center entrance on nor façade; center chimney. Exterior features include 1/1 double-hung sash with plain surrounds; 1/1 sliding sash on east and west facades; board and batten skirting across north façade.
