History: In 1897, Charles Terry purchased the site of the Coupeville Mill Company and erected a building to house a fruit dryer. The business processed locally grown fruits and vegetables for shipment to the Alaskan gold fields. James Gillespie purchased the building in 1908 for use as a livery and feed stable. During the 1950’s, Lindsay’s Marina occupied the building.

Description: Commercial. Wood frame set on post and block/piling foundation; small shed roof addition on east façade; 2-stories; board and batten siding; galvanized metal gable roof. Exterior features include paired 1/1 double-hung sash; plain fascia board; roof beam extending from south gable end; wood stairs leading to second story entrances on east façade; stairs to beach from deck on east façade; sliding wall opening on south façade.
