History: James Gillespie purchased this lot in 1887 from Abram Alexander and built this structure for a meat market. The business was later run by Elwell and Howard Libbey. The building currently contains a retail store. Additional windows have been installed in the building and otherwise the original appearance is maintained.

Description: False Front Commercial. Wood frame set on post and block/concrete foundation; rectangle; 2 bays wide; 1-story; shiplap siding with wood shingles on north façade; wood-shingled gable roof with prominent cross gable in center of false front. Exterior features include 6-pane fixed sash; 6/6 double-hung sash, all with plain surrounds; eaves extending beyond false front; hip-roofed porch over off-set rear entry on north façade; stairway to beach on north façade.
