History: This house was originally two cabins that were joined some time before 1918. The King’s lived here and had a farm. Mrs. King was a mid-wife in the 1920’s, before Polly Harpole became one. Abe Hamlin lived in the house later on, and it has had a number of owners.

Description: Vernacular Farmhouse. Wood frame set on post and block foundation; T-shape; 5 bays wide; 1-story; shiplap siding with vertical wood panel siding on east addition; wood shingled-gable roof; corbelled off-center interior chimney on south façade. Exterior features include 1/1 double-hung sash with plain surrounds; aluminum siding sash; boxed cornice; shed-roof additions flanking front façade; shed roof overhang supported by chamfered posts on west façade.
