History: This house was built for the local steamship captain, Henry Arnold, but he died before ever living in it.  His wife and son lived here until 1981.  The barn predates the house: it was built with an earlier house that no longer stands.

Description: Wood frame set on concrete foundation; rectangle (28’ x 26’); 4 bays wide; 1 1/2-stories.  Landscape features include one wood frame barn with gambrel roof, hay hood, and cupola; five wood frame, gable-roofed outbuildings; one wood frame, shed-roofed outbuilding; remnant fruit orchard.
