History:  This brick building was constructed to expand the Hingston Store c. 1936.  It was connected to the false front commercial building located next door and served as a country store and post office.  The Trumbull’s purchased the building in 1945 and ran the store until the mid-1950’s.  Since that time, the building has had several owners and a variety of businesses have occupied the site. 

Description:  Commercial Building with Deco elements.  Masonry construction set on concrete foundation;  rectangle ( 30’ x 34’ ) ;  3 bays wide; 1 ½-stories.
