Lately, I have been watching a lot of these videos recorded by Home Security Cameras, where burglars get caught in the act.

At first, I found this quite funny, but then it struck me…

“This could actually happen to me too”

I wasn’t laughing anymore ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

Here’s one of those videos, if you haven’t seen any yet:

These guys did not seem to be in a hurry while deciding what to take. They didn't know the owner of the house was looking through his phone, thanks to the security camera he had installed. The calm was over when the police reached the place, and one of them even jumped through the window!

Hopefully Chloe, the family dog, hasn't lost her security job.

There are hundreds of videos like these ones on the internet and you could spend hours watching them, each one has its own different outcome. Some have a happy ending and others not so much.

“That could be your home”

However, not everything is laughter and fun when you realize that this could happen to any of us. It could happen to you too. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

That could be your home, and you may not be lucky enough to have a way of knowing that someone has decided to enter it without authorization.

If you’re like me, I bet you’re not laughing anymore. This type of robbery is still a very common technique among thieves today, so if you think your home is out of danger, maybe it’s what they want you to believe.

I did my research

After watching a dozen of these videos, I started researching about this dropcam mentioned in many of them. But I quickly found out it wasn’t the best option - it’s actually quite expensive at $199 for the basic model, and it comes with a monthly fee.

Not only that, but I also learnt it’s only recording in HD in the high-end $399 model, and this one also comes with a monthly fee!

That wasn’t for me:

Any alternatives?

I researched a lot of different models, and there are some very cheap Chinese cams out there, but you know what?

Those are often unreliable.

You don’t know how many people I have seen complain that theirs simply stopped working shortly after they purchased them … or stopped sending notifications to their phones, either because the motion detector got broken, or because the software was buggy.

In any case, if you don’t receive a notification when someone breaks into your home, then the camera is useless!

Here’s the best I found! ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ

Fortunately, someone I know told me about this other security cam, called FamilyGuard PRO.

After reading about it, I found it had everything I was looking for:

  • Motion and Sound Detection
  • Live Streaming
  • Two-way Audio
  • Remote Pan and Tilt
  • Night Vision
  • HD High Quality Video (1080p)
  • Affordable and NO monthly subscription needed!

Installing Familyguard Pro is surprisingly easy, in a few minutes it is ready to use.

Its motion detection tells you when something unusual is happening in your home and you can watch a live transmission from wherever you are.

It also detects unusual sounds, so if someone breaks the door or a window, it also sends a notification to your phone.

The image quality is awesome, even when it’s dark thanks to its night vision:

If you are still unsure you should get one, just watch the video at the top again -- but now imagine that this is YOUR home and you do not have a security camera system to know what is happening, you arrive at your home and suspiciously the room looks more spacious.

Security has no price, although in this case it has and it's very low.

Where can you get yours?

Simply on the official site here.

Last time I checked, a discount was available, but I’m unsure how much time it will last.
