You can paint your fiberglass or concrete pool if it is in good condition. The old paint can be removed by water blasting. After that, spray on a coat of Nu-Pool epoxy paint. This should last between seven and ten years. Although acrylic or rubber-based paints are also possible, they are less durable than epoxy paint.

A new plaster coating is applied to the area if necessary after the preparation. You can use a mixed plaster with colored sands, pebbles or glass beads to create an exposed aggregate plaster. Exposed aggregate is considered a finished finish, but plain plaster is usually painted (often with epoxy, rubberized, or acrylic formulas), fiberglass, and tile.

Concrete pools can't withstand wear and tear as well and will need to be replastered quite frequently. A concrete pool resurfacing project typically costs at least $10,000. To keep your pool looking great, seal it with the same finishes.
