System Generated Package Code
Previous Topic  Next Topic

While creating a new packaging type record in a database, the key index is the package code.   This code will be system generated unless an administrator specifies their own unique company code.

For example, a system generated code of SR24.0X12.0X8.0 would describe a standard returnable container with dimensions 24 x 12 x 8.  Note the system will always put the longest dimension first as the length regardless of how the user defined the dimensions of the container.
