Quantity per Container defines the number of parts that will be transported in the base container from a supplier to a customer.  Quantity per container can also be defined for parts shipping from a warehouse to the point of use within the plant.   The internal QPC may or may not be the same as the QPC defined in the As Shipped Summary section.  See Internal Packaging Data. 

To define the quantity per container (QPC): 

1. Access the As Shipped Summary section of the PDS.
2. Enter the Part Qty per Container in the designated field.
