Displayed on the packaging components section of the Product Data Sheet is the system calculated number of returnable containers needed to meet the peak daily demand for this part using the number of container days specified.  More containers can be authorized to use as safety stock.

• Defines the transport times.
• Calculates the buffer needed to ensure enough containers are available.
• Uses peak daily volume for this calculation.
• Allows for definition of a returnable container location which may be different from origin.
• Allows for definition of outbound provider, route and delivery pattern.
• Allows for definition of a return ratio. (i.e. one tote going out for one tote coming in as 1:1)
