Deleting an Item Unit of Measure Record

An Item Unit of Measure record can be deleted if the conflict between units of measure has been resolved at the source.   The Item Unit of Measure record would no longer be needed.


Given the below example, one PFEP document for item W10243393 has defined the Shipment Unit of Measure has "CM".


Let's investigate.


  1. Click "CM".


       


  1. Click the magnifying glass to open the details of the price document.


       


  1. Click the Item Demand tab. Notice the obvious error between Shipment Unit of Measure and the Material Release Unit of Measure.


       

  1. Change the Shipment Unit of Measure by using the Estimated Annual Usage unit drop down to "EA".
  2. Click Save and Return.
  3. Using the Item Unit of Measure table, delete the record that is no longer needed.
