EGBOM records are created during the process of releasing MRP Area Model. MRP area models define what models are going to be built in which MRP area, e.g. a certain production line within a plant. When BOMs are imported into FMRP, the records are stored in a planning BOM table.   In order to broadcast parts, BOM records must be released to the EGBOM production table.
