A broadcast position is:

• A placeholder on a printed or displayed broadcast sheet which contains a broadcast code needed for special operator instruction.
• A code for identifying all variants of a commodity group to be sequenced.

The example below illustrates a broadcast position as a placeholder on a broadcast sheet. In this example, eight unique broadcast positions are available on the broadcast sheet.   The highlighted box is considered broadcast position 1-2.
