Cholula and Puebla Day Trip

Liza on the road to Puebla...
road over the pass went over 2800m
(nearly 9200 ft)?

Spanish-built Catholic church
Nuestra Señora de los Remedios
was built atop Great Pyramid of Cholula,
the largest man-made structure by
volume in the world.

Robert inside a tunnel in the
pyramid (excavated by archeologists,
not an original tunnel; the pyramid
was presumably solid)

A long staircase inside the
pyramid

Robert and Liza inside the tunnel...

...and Robert outside in the
daylight

Robert checking out some

Why is he smiling?  Because
he just ate a grasshopper (chapul)
