Jorupe presented us with a completely
different habitat - dry deciduous forest - reminiscent of our home in
southeast Arizona, save for the Ceiba
trees that looked like Palo Verdes on steroids. Another Jocotoco
Foundation lodge, Jorupe was a comfortable base to get the last new
birds of the trip, some endemic to the area.
