Viewing the DS-NOC settings

DS-Client Help : Configuring the DS-Client : Viewing the DS-NOC settings

To view the DS-NOC settings, the DS-NOC must be enabled by you or your service provider. If enabled, the DS-Client sends event information to the DS-NOC for monitoring purposes.

1. On the Setup menu, click DS-NOC Settings.

2. To use the proxy configuration whenever DS-Client connects to the DS-NOC, select the Use Proxy check box. For more information see “Configuring the DS-System connection settings”.

NOTE: The rest of the information displayed is obtained from the DS-System and is read-only.

3. To connect the DS-Client immediately to the DS-System to obtain the latest settings, click Check New Settings. The DS-Client automatically updates the settings each time it connects to the DS-System.

4. To connect the DS-Client immediately to the DS-NOC server to send monitoring information, click Connect to DS-NOC.

5. Click Close.
