Burnaby
The Basic Idea
• Crafted Hardwood Veneer.
• Made from an engineered hardwood veneer to emulate the
look of real Quartersawn Maple, Oak or Cherry.
• Crafted to improve consistency in grain patterns to match
from piece to piece and to accept color more uniformly.
The Details
The new Burnaby door is made using a crafted veneer to provide
a more consistent color and grain pattern across doors. The
material is created by gluing thin sheets of veneer into large
blocks, which are then sliced in the opposite direction revealing
thin consistent layers that emulate the look of quartersawn
wood. To achieve a consistent color throughout, the wood is
dyed to match the replicated species.
• Full overlay.
• Quartersawn veneer slab on wall and base doors.
• Standard: Slab drawer front.
See page A5.

like the Madison door. The edge banding on the door will
only be visible on the edge, not the face of the door.
