Restoring Files and Folders
The procedure to recover files and folders involves the following steps:
| 1. | Mounting the Virtual Machine that Contains the Required Files and Folders |
| Note: | While the virtual machine is mounted: |
| • | If you start a live failover or move, Zerto Virtual Manager forcibly unmounts the virtual machine so the live failover or move can be performed. |
| • | (On-premise environments) Scheduled retention processes do not start. |
| • | (On-premise environments) Manual retention processes fail. |
| • | You can perform a test failover or clone. |
| 2. | Downloading or Restoring Files and Folders |
| Note: | When downloading, you may see grayed out files. These grayed out files are not supported files, and therefore cannot be selected. For a list of unsupported files, see Zerto Virtual Replication - Interoperability Matrix for All Versions. |
