USNA Females Proving Themselves
Eleven female midshipmen from the class 2010 have been selected for submarine service, which has not gone unnoticed by the news media. Watch some of the interviewees here. "It feels like we got all of our dreams in one day," said Midshipman Kristin Lyles.

Lieutenant Steven Peace '98, USN, Paralympian
A stroke halted San Diego resident Lieutenant Peace's Navy career back in 2006, but it did not take his spirit. He battled back to find his voice and mobility, ultimately training to compete in triathlons on a very custom bicycle after some said he'd never walk again.
