While it is important that you stay focussed on the team objective it is also imperative that you listen to what fellow team members have to say. If you ignore what they're saying you are likely to end up in trouble. You can affect moral, make uninformed and erroneous decisions or even become extremely unpopular. Its is important to realise that you actually must listen to what is being said and not just appear to.
