Crystal Waters wrote Web Concept & Design (New Riders) and filled it with brilliant tips and helpful ideas. But she practises what she preaches, she isn't on some pedestal of design coolness without having done any! One quick look at her site, Typo.com, shows one how firmly she has a grasp on design principles. Its fast, easy to navigate and looks extremely cool. Its friendly to all kinds of browsers and is filled with great articles on a huge variety topics. The Net would be a better place if all homepages were of this calibre!
