7.4 Polar3D printer stepper motors locked in place

While the printer is printing, its stepper motors are controlling the movement of the build plate shuttle and print head. Normally, when the printer is not printing, the build plate shuttle and print head move freely on their respective support rods, should you wish to move them. However, if you have interrupted the printer in the middle of a print job, resulting in the stepper motors still being engaged (hence holding the build plate shuttle and print head locked in place), note that you may use the printer local web interface’s “Manual Printer Controls screen’s “Unlock Motors” button to cause the stepper motors to disengage.
