How many self-identified integral enthusiasts and kick-ass integral practitioners are there? How many get this email?
The answer I want to propose is, enough. There are enough of us to go on the adventure of a lifetime and create the future we want, if we stand together and take action.
Such an adventure of enacting global futures is the purpose of MetaIntegral, and the mandate of “The Power of We” campaign at MetaIntegral Foundation.
This blog is the first in a series of posts on and related to “The Power of We.” I want to thank our partner Integral Life for not only offering us this platform, but also allowing us to kick off the series in unique fashion, with a direct call to action. Whereas future posts will strike a different chord, the key to “The Power of We” is your participation. To introduce the campaign in any other way would obscure its meaning and do a disservice to the integral community.
Before I describe the campaign and give its context within the organizational ecosystem of MetaIntegral, let me share this personal sentiment: There’s no telling what the global integral community can accomplish when we are united in spirit and effort—when we can enjoy “the miracle of we” and unleash “the power of we.” What the Integral Movement has been lacking is what all vibrant social movements require, a combination of collective identity and collective action.
Take a moment and feel your desire to make a difference in the world. Feel the gap between the world you envision and your power as an individual to bring it to fruition. Is it painful? Motivating?
Let your heart and mind be moved by the possibility for us to live out the integral story. Consider the enormous, delicious opportunity to harness our collective power and coordinate our action, and crowd-source integral projects that deliver “integral impact” to our fragmented, materialist-minded planet!
