When you look at this giant, shiny pink
balloondog, it’s hard tobelieve that its
creator, Jeff Koons, started his working life
as a hard-nosedWall Street broker. Today
he is one of thegreatest livingartists. An
orange version of this balloondog sold for
$58.4m (€47m) in2013. This winter, there’s
an exhibitionat Paris’ PompidouCentre
lookingback at the35-year career of the
controversial American. Expect domestic
appliances, kitsch toys and huge Play-Doh
sculptures. The exhibition runs until 27April
2015. Tickets cost €10.
