SNOW IN MANILA?
Surprise! Snow World
Manila, an awesome new 12,000 sq ft indoor
attraction, was specially designed to produce
tons of snow using German technology and
equipment, creating real snowflakes in a -15°
centigrade winter fun land.
Snow World Manila gives everybody the
opportunity to see and know the animals living
in the icy Arctic. Dubbed as, “ Beyond ice,
Under the sea”, sea creatures were recreated
and presented in highly crafted ice carvings.
With several months of planning, the all-new
design concept gives us a unique experience
of discovery, knowledge, awareness and
entertainment by exhibiting 28 species of sea
creatures under the sea.
The main attraction of the new themed ice
carving showcase is the jaw dropping view
of a gigantic octopus. It towers over 14 feet
with its long elongated tentacles stretched
to 26 ft, ready to catch its own prey. A team
of highly selected artisans and ice carving
craftsmen, considered among the best in Asia,
were commissioned to make the ice carving in
intricate detail. Challenged by the complexity of
its composition, it took 3,000 solid ice blocks
to construct the basic building bases that would
meet the requirements of the ice carving project.
The end result is an awesome presentation of
sheer artistic talent with their fine art creations
all under one roof. Other attractions await
guests at this winter wonderland all year.
