MOTORSIKLO DIARIES
Look for the quirky characters.
During my most recent shoot in Ilocos
Norte, our guide showed us around on
his motorbike. Of course, we had to
make time to eat the regional specialty,
bagnet
(crispy pork belly).

BEEN THERE, DUNE THAT
Take time out for the big picture, or
establishing shots that take in sweeping
landscapes. I just love the Paoay sand
dunes of Ilocos Norte.

— during our ferry ride from Surigao
to Siargao island, I snapped the most
important room on the boat.

REMOTE VILLAGE
It’s worth it
to get out of your way and off the
beaten track for a great shot. Amganad
village in the Banaue Rice Terraces is
very much out of reach of tourists.
