This year, 10-yearMarch ofDimes
volunteer andUnited employeeElise
Jackson, her husband,Todd, and son,
Elijah, are serving as the 2015March
ofDimesNationalAmbassador family.
Early in 2002,Elise andTodd unex-
pectedlywelcomed their sonElijah at
just25weeks,weighinga littleoverone
pound. I’m happy to report that with
help from theMarchofDimes,Elijah
is doing verywell today.The Jacksons
holdaspecialplace inourUnitedfamily,
andwe’reexcitedthatwecanhelpthem
share their storywith the country.
Additionally, JohnRainey,United’s
executivevicepresidentandchieffinan-
cialofficer,wasnamednationalchairof
the 2015March for Babieswalks, the
organization’s largestannual fundraiser.

butwedo farmore than that.Wemake
apositivedifference inthecommunities
whereourcustomersandemployees live
andwork.
For10years,wehaveenjoyedagreat
partnershipwith theMarchofDimes,
whosemission is to helpmoms have
full-term pregnancies and to research
theproblemsthatthreatenthehealthof
babies.Incelebrationofour10thyearof
partnershipwiththiswonderfulorgani-
zation,we are steppingupour support
to theMarchofDimes inabigway.
For the last nine years and again in
2015,United has had the privilege of
flying theMarch of Dimes National
Ambassador families across the coun-
try to share their personal stories and
experiences.TheNationalAmbassador
Program is an annual campaign that
helps raise awareness on the need for
research and community programs
Asnational chair,hehas committed to
raising aminimum of $1million for
March ofDimes on behalf of United
this year.Withhis leadership andhelp
from employees,business partners and
you,our customers,we look forward to
meetingandexceedingour goal.

ingplace in locationsacrossthecountry,
