If you were to rely on personal experience alone, it would take
several lifetimes to compile the knowledge we’ve collected here.
In fact, taken together, the people we surveyed for our ski poll
have spent hundreds of years amassing the expertise that allows
them to tell us, with some authority, the who, what, where and
when of global skiing. All that remains now is for the rest of us
to take a little time to put their recommendations to the test.
